Favorite Venues

As professional wedding photographers in Austin, we have had the opportunity to work at most of the venues throughout the area. There are some absolutely gorgeous historic venues in downtown Austin that make for incredible spaces to host a wedding. On the other hand, the Texas Hill Country is filled with a number of beautiful, charming, and rustic wedding venues where you can dance the night away under the stars. We enjoy shooting both equally and have compiled a list of some of our absolute favorite wedding venues here in Austin!

Gabriel Springs

Gabriel Springs sits just north of Austin on Highway 29. The short drive is well worth the trip to escape the city for the peaceful countryside. The grounds here are immaculately manicured and the gardens blend perfectly into the native landscape. The spacious reception hall nestled among the oak trees boasts a large deck with great views to the west. In addition, the sunsets from here are some of the most beautiful of any wedding venue in Austin and have to be seen to be believed. Take a look at the photo below!

Bob Bullock Museum

The Bob Bullock Museum sits in the heart of downtown Austin and oozes magic once the sun goes down. The space is as expansive as you’ll find for an indoor wedding venue, and boasts a three story domed lobby, a massive reception area and more than enough room for a large Texas wedding. The larger than life “Lone Star” that greets visitors directly outside the Bob Bullock Museum is a favorite spot for wedding portraits, and a quick walk down Congress provides a great view of the Texas Capitol!

Winfield Inn

The Winfield Inn is a beautifully restored home in the town of Kyle, just south of Austin. This place has a certain magic to it. Once inside the gate, time slows down a bit and the space seems to invite you in. The estate is nestled underneath a canopy of some of the most gorgeous trees in Central Texas!
